Maybe we could include Puerto Rico with the Virgin Islands. Perhaps do a little history lesson/info about Puerto Rico/ St. Thomas and discuss conditions etc.  Many Americans do not even realize the Puerto Ricans are US citizens.
I agree that raising money for a specific relief organization is best for this.
